Benevolence: Your gift will help provide financial assistance to seniors who have outlived their resources, so they are always able to call PVM their home. Benevolence also supports residents who have an emergency financial need including, food, prescription assistance, utility bills and so much more.

PVM Fund:
This fund supports the areas of greatest need throughout the organization and gives PVM the flexibility to address immediate needs as they arise.

Special Projects: From resident activities at every Village to capital building projects and everything in-between. The Foundation raises funds for each of PVM’s 29 Villages and the residents they serve in the ways they need it most.

Wellness: Supporting equipment and programming for residents including physical exercise classes and opportunities, as well as classes and programs that enrich the mind and spirit of hundreds of residents and community seniors.

Q: What is the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation?
A: The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that sustains and advances the mission of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan by providing philanthropic support for resident emergency needs, innovative services and wellness programs for residents and seniors throughout the state.

Q: Who runs the Foundation?
A: The Foundation is run by an independent Board of Directors made up of area community leaders.

Q: Is the Foundation tax exempt?
A: Yes. The Foundation has its own 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS as a tax exempt organization. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

Q: How will the fundraising efforts of the Foundation enhance Presbyterian Villages of Michigan?
A: They will make available facilities, programs, and services that Presbyterian Villages of Michigan could not otherwise afford to provide, as well as strengthen existing programs and services.

Q: How do I donate to a specific Village or Project?
A: Easy. All you need to do is make your check payable to Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation and note the Village or Project for which you would like to designate your donation, or make the specific Village or Project selection on the online donation form. A: Yes. Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation accepts beneficial designations of life insurance policies and qualified retirement plans, bequests, and gifts of assets transferred to the Foundation or a trust in exchange for current income.
