We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and dependable volunteers to help make the PVM Foundation Gala a night to remember. From welcoming guests and managing registration to supporting behind-the-scenes setup and teardown, there’s a role for everyone. Your time and energy will help create an unforgettable experience—and make a meaningful impact in the lives of Michigan seniors.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities
Registration Volunteer
Duties:
- Check in guests using event registration list or software
- Provide name tags or materials as needed
- Handle any registration issues or direct to staff lead
- Assist with late arrivals or walk-ins
Raffle Sales Volunteer
Duties:
- Sell raffle tickets during cocktail hour and dinner
- Explain raffle rules and prizes to guests
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, or mobile payment systems (as applicable)
- Ensure raffle table is staffed and prizes are displayed
Set-Up Crew
- Assist staff and vendors with room setup prior to event
- Arrange tables, centerpieces, signage, registration area, and raffle tables
- Place programs, swag bags, or other materials on tables
- Ensure the venue is guest-ready before doors open
Tear-Down / Clean-Up Crew
Duties:
- Assist staff with post-event breakdown
- Pack and organize event materials
- Help vendors with removal of décor, staging, and AV equipment
- Ensure venue is returned to pre-event condition
Floater / General Event Support
Duties:
- Assist where needed throughout the evening
- Cover volunteer breaks
- Provide guest assistance as requested
- Help troubleshoot minor event issues or notify staff leads
Photobooth Volunteer
Duties:
- Manage photo booth line and assist guests with photo props
- Ensure smooth guest experience at photo opportunities
