Your donation supports the independence and physical health of older adults in downtown Detroit through the addition of a bicycle rack! In addition to physical activity, your support brought back a sense of freedom for residents who otherwise would have no form of individual transportation.
Donated resident grills provided an alternative cooking method and foster a sense of community over shared meals.
Additional funds supported the needed maintenance of the Brush Park resident bus, making group trips possible. For some, these trips are their first time leaving their neighborhood.
