From Rosie the Riveter to Inspiration: Fran’s Story

Ms. Fran Mauro Masters, one of the original “Rosie the Riveters,” was celebrated this week 

In case you missed it, Ms. Fran, a beloved PVM Village resident, was honored on Veteran’s Day with the unveiling of a bronze statue in her likeness at the Michigan WWII Legacy Memorial in Royal Oak. Her courage, hard work, and dedication during World War II inspired generations.

At 103, Ms. Fran continues to inspire everyone around her with her strength, resilience, and spirit. Thank you, Ms. Fran, for showing us “We Can Do It!”
