What is the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation?
The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that sustains and advances the mission of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan by providing philanthropic support for resident emergency needs, innovative services and wellness programs for residents and seniors throughout the state.
Who runs the Foundation?
The Foundation is run by an independent Board of Directors made up of area community leaders.
Is the Foundation tax exempt?
Yes. The Foundation has its own 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS as a tax exempt organization. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
How will the fundraising efforts of the Foundation enhance Presbyterian Villages of Michigan?
They will make available facilities, programs, and services that Presbyterian Villages of Michigan could not otherwise afford to provide, as well as strengthen existing programs and services.
How do I donate to a specific Village or Project?
Easy. All you need to do is make your check payable to Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation and note the Village or Project for which you would like to designate your donation.
Can I make a planned gift?
Yes. Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation accepts beneficial designations of life insurance policies and qualified retirement plans, bequests, and gifts of assets transferred to the Foundation or a trust in exchange for current income.
